Trash is collected in mesh dive bags and hauled up on shore. Lift bags are used to get heavy items like tires out of deep water.

Every item is then categorized and recorded before being thrown out.

The First Annual Cleanup was celebrated with live music from Moogie before and after the dive.

We have recently added a shoreline cleanup to our monthly effort. A large trash bin is used to clean up anything that has washed ashore along Playa Paboa during the previous month. This month some local fishermen lent a hand as well when they saw our cleaning crew.
