Before, during and after The Big Waves

The higher water lapped over the road at Harbour Village Marina. It was closed off for the latter half of the day.

The wave spray continued at incredible heights in Belnem.

The dive site "The Lake" really looked like it with waves breaching the break water.

Most of the southern end of the island was blocked by waves crossing the road leaving debris behind.

But that didn't stop many a photographer from catching that perfect picture.

Some huddled and some rejoiced with the power of the sea.
